Located in the heart of the Gouin Reservoir in the Haut-Saint-Maurice region, the area boasts 275 km of navigable waterways and breath-taking white sand beaches to explore with the whole family. The Aventurier du Gouin outfitter is situated on a remote peninsula far from forestry roads and is accessible only by boat or plane.

Outfitter location
The outfitter is accessible by boat and float plane. From La Tuque : Head north on route 10, turn left at the crossroad (end of route 10) towards Parent, then turn right at the 47 km sign. Drive for another 20 km to board the shuttle boat for a 25-minute ride to the site. From Montreal : Head north on highway 15, and then take route 117 towards Mont Laurier. Turn right on route 1502 towards Parent and then take route 400 towards the Gouin reservoir. Turn right at the 47 km sign and drive to the parking lot. Float plane transport is available from La Tuque, Mont Laurier or Montreal.
Communications & A/V equipment
The inn and meeting rooms are equipped with high-speed internet access, TV-DVD consoles and flip charts. Telephone service is available via satellite only.
Reception capacity
Lodge: Up to 16 persons (American Plan). Exclusive occupancy for groups of 10 or more. Cabins: Up to 20 persons (4 cabins).
Catering
The Aventurier du Gouin team includes two specialists in restaurant management with extensive knowledge of the fine hotel industry. The “gastronomy in the forest” theme is an integral part of the establishment’s culinary philosophy. Meal times are flexible, to fit your fishing schedule. The premises are licensed to sell alcoholic beverages. The lodge’s dining room seats 20, while its meeting room holds 16.

Description of accommodations
Lodge : Situated on a remote peninsula far from forestry roads, the inn is accessible only by boat or by plane. A shuttle boat will take you to the site from the parking lot. The menu offers regional cuisine, including fish and game dishes. Discover this magnificent roundwood lodge built in the heart of the wilderness! Cabins : The log cabins, housing 2 to 8 persons, are far apart and each has its own bathroom, dock and private beach. You may choose a package with or without meals.
